CARA
The Cara is a superior foam mattress system for patients at a high or very high risk of developing a pressure ulcer.
Designed using a castellated keyhole cut CMHR foam insert for exceptional pressure relief and a u-shaped base for improved stability and support for patient movement and transfers.
The Cara’s superior strength in design means it can be used for patients up to 254kg (41 stone).
The Cara mattress does not need to be turned and is protected against the ingress of liquid by a toughened, water resistant polyurethane cover, welded seams and a covered zip.
The Cara is suitable for every care and hospital environment, however acute, and will provide effective reduction of pressure for patients most at risk of pressure ulcers.
