AER Reva is a lateral rotation support surface that gently and gradually turns patients to assist pulmonary blood flow and mucosal drainage and thereby prevent pressure related incidences.
AER Reva is designed for patients with little or no mobility and at a very high risk of developing a pressure ulcer.
Clinicians can select angle and timing of turns suitable for each patient’s individual requirements. Side bolsters ensure patients safety whilst turning; and the 20 8” cells with 2’ foam base offer comfort and stability for patients up to 455kg in weight.
This advanced mattress also incorporates on demand low air loss, which reduces moisture and humidity providing optimal micro climate control and split cells for equal inflation and deflation.
Key Features
- Multiple sizes available.
- A total of 20 cells 8 inches deep with an additional 2 inch foam base to increase comfort and reduce the risk of 'bottoming out'.
- Cells are split vertically down the centre of the mattress to provide equal inflation and deflation.
- Air bolsters either side of the mattress to protect the patient whilst in turn mode.
- Quick CPR connector function.
- Time to inflate on initial use approximately 20 minutes.
- Four way multi-stretch polyurethane (PU) cover to reduce shear and friction.
- Fully welded, vapour permeable, water resistant cover.
- BS7175 Crib 5 flame retardant cover.
- BS7177 Crib 5 flame retardant foam.
- 360 degree concealed zipper for easy removal with PU overhang to stop the ingress of fluids.
- White substrate to quickly indicate strikethrough and contamination.
- Turn CPR for rapid deflation in case of an emergency and prevents accidental deflation.
- Transport mode feature, mattress will stay inflated for up to 12 hours.
- Comfort adjustment, press the 'soft' or 'firm' to adjust the air pressure in the mattress.
- Weight is displayed on the panel for ease of use.
- Select 'Turn' button until the selection of 'None', 'Left Turn', 'Right Turn' or 'Both' light up and the desired rotation can be selected.
- The correct rotation angle can be selected, options are 1/4", 1/2", 3/4" and 'Full'.
- Press 'Time Button' to set the appropriate rotation time. Options are 10, 20, 30 and 60 minutes.
- Max inflate, mattress to inflate quickly to its maximum support surface to aid nursing procedures such as repositioning and patient transfers. Max Inflate will be active for 30 minutes, after 30 minutes the pump will revert to its last therapy mode. Whilst in Max Inflate a series of beeps will sound every 3 minutes as a reminder the mode has been activated.
- On demand low air loss mode. Press to select low air loss mode.
- Alarm Mute button. The audible/visible alarm turns on when the control unit detects low pressure, power failure or system failure. To mute the audible alarm, press the Mute button. The visible alarm indicator will flash until the problem is solved.
- Low pressure indicator. If there is a bad connection of tubing or any air leakage the low pressure indicator will flash and the alarm will sound within 30 seconds. Once the issue is solved the pump will continue to operate in the previous set mode.
- Power failure alarm. Should there be a power failure the audible alarm will sound and the power failure indicator will flash. When the power is back on the pump will start automatically.
- Unlock button. The AER Reva will automatically lock in 5 minutes without operation. To manually lock press button for 3 seconds, press again for 3 seconds to unlock the panel.
