AER Reva is a lateral rotation bariatric support surface that gently and gradually turns patients to assist pulmonary blood flow and mucosal drainage and thereby prevent pressure related incidences.
AER Reva is designed for patients with little or no mobility and at a very high risk of developing a pressure ulcer.
Clinicians can select angle and timing of turns suitable for each patient’s individual requirements. Side bolsters ensure patients safety whilst turning; and the 20 8” cells with 2’ foam base offer comfort and stability for patients up to 455kg in weight.
This advanced mattress also incorporates on demand low air loss, which reduces moisture and humidity providing optimal micro climate control and split cells for equal inflation and deflation.

Key Features

- Available in three widths, 90cm, 106cm and 120cm.
- A total of 20 cells 8 inches deep with an additional 2 inch foam base to increase comfort and reduce the risk of 'bottoming out'.
- Cells are split vertically down the centre of the mattress to provide equal inflation and deflation and to turn the patient.
- Air bolsters either side of the mattress to protect the patient whilst in turn mode.
- The air bolsters can be deflated independently to reduce the mattress width.
- CPR function to rapidly deflate the mattress in an emergency.
- Cable management
- Four way multi-stretch polyurethane (PU) cover to reduce shear and friction.
- Fully welded, vapour permeable, water resistant cover.
- BS7175 Crib 5 flame retardant cover.
- BS7177 Crib 5 flame retardant foam.
- 360 degree concealed zipper for easy removal with PU overhang to stop the ingress of fluids.
- White substrate to quickly indicate strikethrough and contamination.
- Transport mode feature, mattress will stay inflated for up to 8 hours.
- Minimum weight load 40Kg
- Maximum weight load 455Kg
- For comfort adjust the air pressure in the mattress by pressing the ‘soft’ or ‘firm’ buttons.
- To turn the patient to their right, left or to rotate both ways press the 'turn' button.
- For angle of rotation press ‘select turn’. The options are 1/4, 1/2, 3/4 or full turn.
- For rotation time press 'time’. The options are 10, 20, 30 or 60 minutes.
- Press max inflate and the mattress will inflate quickly to its maximum support surface to aid nursing procedures such as repositioning and patient transfers.
- Max Inflate will be active for 30 minutes, after 30 minutes the pump will revert to its last therapy mode. Whilst in Max Inflate a beep will sound every 3 minutes as a reminder the mode is active.
- Press low air loss to provide on demand low air loss. A steady stream of air will flow into the mattress.
- The audible/visible alarm turns on when the control unit detects low pressure, power failure or system failure. To mute the audible alarm, press the mute button. The visible alarm indicator will flash until the problem is solved.
- If there is a bad connection of tubing or any air leakage the low pressure indicator will flash and the alarm will sound within 30 seconds. Once the issue is solved the pump will continue to operate in the previous set mode.
- Should there be a power failure the audible alarm will sound and the power failure indicator will flash until the problem is solved.
- The AER Reva will automatically lock in 5 minutes without operation. To manually unlock press the unlock button for 3 seconds, press again for 3 seconds to lock the panel.
