NOVA
The Nova gel cushion is a four layer support surface for superior pressure redistribution.
The gel layer constantly moves with fluid like qualities providing reactive support for patients. By responding immediately to the users movements the gel evenly dissipates weight and reduces any build up of pressure hotspots.
The gel layer also provides a cooling effect for maximum comfort.
The Nova is suitable for all care settings and most chairs. Gel cushions are particularly good for wheelchairs as they absorb shocks and vibrations providing a smoother ride.
With a base layer of reflex foam providing structure, plus a further two layers of memory foam, the Halo relieves pressure for patients up to 167kg in weight and those at a high to very high risk of developing a pressure ulcer.
