SYNCHRO
The Synchro mattress replacement system is a versatile and cost effective pressure relieving alternating air mattress.
With the combination of two-inch supportive foam and five-inch air cells the Synchro provides excellent pressure relief without the need for an underlay or base mattress.
The Synchro can work either with the AER One pump or as a step up to auto weigh technology the Synchro will work with the AER Auto pump.
The Synchro is suitable for low to high-risk patients in all care settings.
Key Features
Dual Therapy
Alternating and Constant Low Pressure modes.
Seat Boost
Giving support to the sacrum area when patient is in a seated position.
Round Cells
17 cells rotating on a one in two cell cycle.
Cycle Timing
Default 10 minute cycles for A and B Cells. The cycle time options are 10, 15, 20 or 25 minutes.
Low to High Risk
A versatile system using a combination of 2" foam with 5" air cells, suitable for all care environments.
Durable and hygienic
Multi stretch, polyurethane, fully welded, vapour permeable, water resistant cover.
- Cost effective and versatile mattress replacement system.
- Mattress can be used with both the AER One and AER Auto pumps.
- 5 inch cells supported by a 2 inch foam base.
- Suitable for low - high risk patients.
- Seventeen round air cells, three head end cells are static.
- Firm supportive two inch sealed foam base to reduce the risk of the patient bottoming out.
- In addition, foam technology provides reliability as in the event of a power failure the mattress has a sub supportive surface.
- Alternation therapy mode on a 1 in 2 cell cycle. Cycle time between A & B cells is 10 minutes.
- Time to inflate on initial use is approximately 17 minutes.
- Four-way stretch polyurethane (PU) cover to reduce shear and friction.
- Fully welded, vapour permeable, water resistant cover with 360 degree concealed zipper for easy removal with PU overhang to stop ingress of fluids.
- BS7175 Crib 5 flame retardant cover.
- BS7177 Crib 5 flame retardant foam.
- Pull CPR for rapid deflation in case of an emergency and prevents accidental deflation.
- Transport mode feature, mattress will stay inflated for up to 12hrs.
- The Synchro support surface can be used with the AER One and AER Auto Pump.
- Alternating therapy is the default mode for the AER One and AER Auto pump, continuously over a period of time inflating and deflating air cells to relieve pressure away from vulnerable areas, whilst stimulating blood flow circulation across the entire body.
- Constant Low Pressure (CLP) therapy can be used as an alternative to alternating mode. CLP button must be pressed to activate, equalised pressure throughout all the cells to provide greater immersion, optimum pressure distribution and constant low interface pressure across the mattress surface.
- AER One has weight guide setting, toggle the + or – buttons to increase or decrease to provide the correct pressure within the cells according to patient’s weight.
- AER Auto is an intelligent auto-weigh pump that will adjust the internal pressures and set the comfort mode automatically.
- Adjustable Cycle times allows clinicians to customise the alternation therapy delivered to the patient, which can support a step down process.
- Max inflate, mattress to inflate quickly to its maximum support surface to aid nursing procedures such as repositioning and patient transfers. Max Inflate will be active for 20 minutes, after 20 minutes the pump will revert to its last therapy mode.
- Seat boost mode adjusts the mattress pressures to provide continuous support when the bed is profiled in a seating position. Optimising support on the sacrum area where 75% of the patients’ weight will be insitu, reducing the risk of ‘bottoming out’.
- Unlock feature, the panel will lock out after one minute if buttons are not being activated. Touch unlock button for 3 seconds and the pump will unlock, activating all therapy modes. This feature decreases the risk of people tampering with the pump’s settings.
- Mute button, to mute alarms for low pressure or power shortage. If the problem is not resolved, the pump will re-alarm. The pump will continue to do this process until the issue is fixed.
- Multiple audible and visual alarms warning of low pressure, alternation failure and power failure.
